I completed the Steelhead Half Iron Man last Saturday in  7:01:37.

I was pleased with my swim and bike times!

Swim 40:03
Bike 2:59:24

I was dissapointed with my transitions and run times

T1  6:14
T2  7:04
Run  3:08:52

I am very pleased that I finished!

It is amazing how this stuff works by the time I picked up my bike and gear in transition I was already thinking about what I need to do diferently next year.

Thanks to everyone on this board. You are all inspriational.

Congratulations to you.  Good solid job.  Maybe next year I can race it with you.

Be great if you do!  I'm planning on doing this and the Rev 3 half in Cedar Point next year!

Congratulations!  Our group on the fitness boards is certainly setting the example of how to live life to the fullest after shedding the weight!

I don't think ANY of us can run as well after we bike hard!  I know I sure don't.  So, you might be a little disappointed with your run time, it was still a great finish!

Congratulations!

70.3's are tough, it is impressive just to commit to the training and complete the event.  so congrats and great job on a solid effort.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Great Job! Another inspiration for me to do a 70.3 next year. I am going back and forth on whether to do the Orlando one in May or the Augusta one in September.

 Congrats!
It's a fun course!  What was the weather like? Last year towards the end of the bike the winds really got going and the last stretch back to Benton Harbor was a brutal head wind.
Found the support on the run great and helped me during a difficult run.
Hope to see you there next year!
