exercise ball

I want some recommendations from anyone who uses one of these balls & as long as I'm getting one, how about a book with core exercises.

the main reason I want one is to stretch my back - I have used one at work and it feels wonderful to lay on it and lean back to streeeetch. plus, I am driving 3 hours a day, 3 times a week for work and my poor back and neck are so stiff.

I know they are good for doing core exercises so I may as well learn some to do while I'm at it.

I'm going to be on the ball!

planning on getting the Fitball Sport Firm with pump, size 55 .

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

I have a jFit. I'm not sure the size. It's little because I'm short.

I only use it when working out with a group though so I don't have a book or any specific workouts I do at home. I guess I should start since I haven't been able to get to a lot of my group workouts.

the ball I plan to order comes with a chart that has exercises on it; that should get me started. I might order a book off amazon, too.  even back when I was doing resistance stuff regularly the one thing I neglected was my abs & back. I just hated doing crunches, etc, and the machines I tried at the gym didn't seem to fit me no matter how I adjusted them.

also  checking out this forum, kind of a hardcore neighborhood.

I'm hoping not to get beat up.

I'm not big on crunches either.
