Sunday Workouts!!!!
I wanted to get the month off to a good start since I was working to catch up all last month due to the heat. I went out for 4 miles and plan to add another 2.5 by push mowing my lawn this afternoon. Finished off the run on a trail that has some killer hills and lots of rocky terrain. Good for the stabilizing muscles and cardio.

I ran in the "Monster 10k" in Monticello, NY. Some of the hills were silly, including a crazy hill in the last mile (a rather sadistic race planner, obviously). In spite of feeling like crap from having played soccer pretty hard last night, and really not being in the mood this morning at all, I was able to set a PR for a 10k at 55:50, a hair under a 9 min mile pace, and a good 2 minutes off my previous best 10k time.
Nice work with the PR!

26 mile bike ride. Although I feel a little silly now.Last week I crashed and hit my head so my cheap helmet was crushed on one side,so bought another one on Friday.Since I am getting a tri bike in February I went ahead and bought an aero helmet.I must say I feel kind of stupid riding my entry level road bike with an aero helmet.Seemed like a good idea at the time.
