 upper body workout today.  Laid off the legs and cardio for the 4th day in a row, a record for me.  Trying to heal up before I hit the home stretch of the full marathon training.

I had a most wonderful rare evening run this evening. I am typically a morning runner when it's just getting hot or a mid day runner before I go to work. Tonight was cool and dry so I hit my trails where my adrenaline keeps me going because I don't want to get caught. It was a really nice 3 miles.

Not sure how accurate the cross trainer / cross country type machine is, but I did 5k in 19:36! I tried about 10 strides on the treadmill, and it is DEF a no go for a while...

Only managed 2 miles this morning.  Ran out of time for more, but thought I'd do a couple more after work.  That didn't happen either since I got off work too late to get to the gym.  Oh well, tomorrow's another day...

Did a workout at home with dumbbells 'cause I had too much to do in my home business to get to the gym in the morning. Pretty good workout, actually. I have 10 lb and 25 lb dumbbells, and put together a pretty tough routine. Gotta do whatcha gotta do.

 to be honest, I think I get a better workout at home with a set of 25# dumbells and my curl bar, than with all the fancy machines at the gym.. but of course you don't get to people watch and show off when you do it at the house (if we're being honest)  :)
