This morning I ran 7.02 nonstop in 1:10. I still cannot believe I did this. I tried putting powerade zero in my palm holder instead of water and this made a huge difference. The distance was on accident though, I was planning on doing 6.6, but there was traffic at my turnaround point so I kept running until it was safe to cross the street and turn around, when I made it back to my vehicle my garmin read 7.02 miles.

8.96 miles this morning. My last lengthy run before my Half next weekend (8/7). In prep over the next 7 days, I will just toss in a couple of 5K's and some cross training on the eliptical.
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

2000 yard swim before work
28 mile bike ride after work

Almost got taken out by a van that turned right in front of me.  I guess it was appropriate that the near miss was right in front of the cemetery.   I ride a yellow bike with yellow tires and the driver still didn't see me.

Still resting the knee....I may hold out with just a few walks until Monday. I think it's getting better. I am SO frustrated having to not run....strange feeling.
