Wednesday Workouts!

Been a while since I have started this thread.  I had a good early morning run (11:00am) :)  Lately, I have been getting out during the hottest part of the day at 2pm or so.

Anyway, I have a trail close to my house that has a pretty good hill and lots of rocks.  To the peak is .5 miles from my driveway without going down the other side which would really suck because it's STEEP.  Anyway, I kind of had a recovery day with a total of 1.3 miles on the trail.  Yesterday, I had great workout with 3 mile repeats and I actually able to complete what I started which has been rare in the heat.

What did you do today?
Scott

4 mile run this morning, maybe a water aerobics class after work.  We'll see.  The run workouts really sap me of my energy with all this summer heat.

I planned a 3 mile run for my dinner break.  Turns out I forgot to pack my inhaler AND my sports bra.  not sure which I missed more when i got out there and it was 89 degrees with building humidity.

I ran 2 miles, walked a 1/2 mile.

3.2 miles this morning...not going to lie, my hands were cold for the first 1/2 mile or so...and it was like 78 degrees out...i like being "skinny" and not having any insulation..it's kinda nice! :)

The extra rest day did me good.  I nailed my hill repeats today on the treadmill.

5.75 miles total, including four 5-minute intervals at 4% grade in heart rate zones 4&5.
I was soaked by the end, but was able to complete them all without a whimper.

Mine was a 4-mile run again.  All 4 at 6.8 (with the last .25 at 7).  Maybe I'll get my running legs back...  Hoping to get into the water tomorrow (if there isn't a water class when I'm ready).

Off the subject, I've spent the last 1.5 weeks getting some insight into hospital pharmacy.  The only thing I don't like is the shifts (I got a little spoiled at my job) but it's pretty interesting and I'm glad I have the opportunity to check it out.
