Running Lesson #947!

When living in Arizona, DON'T register for a September 1/2 marathon.  Training sucks!!!

In all seriousness though, as rough as it has been, I am really looking forward to this next race, the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon Labor Day weekend!!

This was my goal race when I had my surgery and my whole family (mom, dad, sisters and one brother in law) are all running it with me!  Little did I know the running bug would hit hard and I would have already done 2 1/2 marathons before this race, but still I am excited! However, the heat and humidity suck no matter how early I get up to do it.

i'm beating myself up for doing a 1/2 in October!  We've been brutalized here in Boston all summer.  Thankfully I'm still 11 weeks out, but it's been a crap summer for running outside with asthma!

YAY for your excitement!  How great to have so many people joining you in the race!

Hmm - I have that as # 822. Well, if it's a hot race day, you will be really prepared.

It is amazing how much it really does affect a run. Might as well try running while breathing through a straw as people punch you in the legs.

You are almost there so keep on trucking. Once you tough it out, you will be ready for the big race.

Ouch

You could always move to San Francisco with me. I go running in the morning with 2 (yes 2) long sleeve shirts on and I'm STILL cold.

Can't win right?
