Got to the gym for 5:45am Spin Class... Surgeon said I could give it a shot, but take it easy and 20 minutes tops. Sooooo, 20 minutes of medium intensity in Spin, then walked 10 minutes on deathmill, then a 30 minute soak in the wet sauna... Feeling pretty good!

WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY?

Well....my neck is still hurting from my day at the amusement park, so I did not stretch well for my run....after about a 1.5 miles my right hamstring was pulling or something so I had to stop, I tried power walking but that did not help either, so I finished with a nice walk...Lesson learned!!!  Always STRETCH!!!!!!!!

Now I am going for a massage to get out this kink!!!!  Stupid Anaconda!!!!!!

Ran two miles limping through knee pain (I'm so PO'd about this). I really wish I had a Garmin Forerunner. I've been watching Ebay and Craigslist.

Hey Dan, so glad to see you back in the swing of things! I took a nice hilly bike ride this morning. It was really nice out about 7:00 a.m. today, the humidity has finally broken around here.

I had the best workout that I have had in months today. I did 3 mile repeats in 7:59, 7:53 and 7:50. Finally, a workout that I set out to complete and did. it was 5 miles total.

Nice to see you back at it.
Scott

Well Dan-O-Mite, be careful with all of that taking it easy bricks.  I don't think the doc-doc understood who he was talking too....
Glad you are able to get moving again as Jeff is really lookin forward to do ing the 100 miler with it seems,...check out his secret weapon shoes he uses to cure twisted ankles!!!

Man everybody is kicikin up today.  Glad I got out at lunch too.

After my first 5 miles in almost 2 yrs yesterday, I took a chance and did my scheduled Monday HIIT workout and bumped it up a notch.  I got in a 4 mi total in 50 mins; 1 mi warmyup to the track from the ofc, 8 laps (2 mi) of run straights/walk curves so 16x100 up from 8x100 last Mon.  Left hammy got a little twitchy but made it, then jog back kool-down 1 mi to ofc.

I have discovered the locker room with showers on the ground flr of our building and it feels so good take a brisk rinse after work out. Its almost like a reward for working out.

Keep sluggin everybody.  It sure keeps me fired up to try and keep up with everyone's improving efforts.  (Scott,...dude, sub 8 min miles,...EPO?  BALCO clear gel?  shoes from Jeff B Jammin?)

Did 3 3/4 mile walks with the dog (a slow day for him) and went for a 5.5 mile run this afternoon.

The weather was so nice and thank God there was a good breeze-- my compression shirt was soaked through!

Need to get that Garmin...
