Help- I have plateaued for more than 8 months
Need more detail on diet an exercise.
Eating healthy and being active are key to success. It also can be impacted by how much you started at and where you are trying to get too weight-wise. (The smaller you get the slower it seems o come off).
I had a lot of plateaus that lasted 3-8 weeks but I had RNY and the plateaus occurred, I found, corresponded to the level of exercise I was getting, foods and frequency I was choosing to eat, and weights I was, looking back, corresponded to weights I stablized at for periods on my way up to 408 too. So it was like set ponts the body got hung on for awile to see if I was seriuosly continuing this new lifestyle before giving up more storage.
So the body can have a lot of different stuff going on in addition to whatever you are doing to help or hurt your progress. But more info is needed for us to give much advice.
