I always say, we can often do more than we think we can. Push yourself, at first dont focus on how fast you can do it, just as long as you do it. You run out of breathe, then slow down but dont stop. Our minds talk us out of stuff that we know we can concur. Good luck

Wow, that is a huge accomplishment! You are so inspiring. I always find myself saying "I'll never be able to......", but then I end up being able to do it! Thanks for helping people like me feel like there's a chance we can do the "impossible."

We always say it's impossible. At 230's i'm running and have endurance but it took me a year to get to this point. IT"S IMPOSSIBLE and i was in tears.

Congrats on your accomplishment! Im a newbie to this board and pre-op for RNY. To see how you and so many others on this board are able to do things I can not imagine doing is inspirational to me. My hopes is that one day, 'll be able to join you all in a marathon...Keep up the great work!

Your time will soon come and you will be amazed at your accomplishments and will inspire others. Starting physical activity in the beginning is a good start to a beautiful healthy beginning.

Thanks, it took me about 1:40 hour to complete. I dont focus on speed for now. If you get too out of breath i slow down and pace myself then build back up. I also alternate incline levels to give me more challenges. I think what i'm doing is great no matter if its outside of treadmill. I've been training for over a year, i started out on the ellliptical then mastered that for 5 miles. I try to give my body challenges and my body responds back. You will get there too.
