Never in all my years i would have imagined i'd be in this place today. It feels amazing that im actually ADDICTED to CARDIO.

Some ask how I survive long workouts or where I get my inspiration from. Some even ask, what’s my secret? There is no secret; my path is no easier than anyone else’s. I still have to have determination, will, drive and endurance. I start like everyone else, one step at a time. I have never worked so hard at something before in my life. How do I survive you ask?

I survive by stomping Diabetes out my past and future.
I survive by kicking heart disease with every stride I take.
I survive by slapping High Blood Pressure out of my gene pool.
I survive by not forgetting the path from which I came from.
I survive because regaining is not an OPTION!
Though flawed, I survive because the light within me refuses to dim.

Great Job!!! Keep up the good work... There are a lot of Marathon runners on this board and it sounds like you are well on your way to getting there too.

Thanks friend, it was actually you that made me re-evaluate my terms. For a long time i would say jog because there was no way i could ever use the word run. Well my friend, i'm a runner and that makes me smile just to say that. I have some training to do but all together this feeling is splendid.

Thanks so much, I've done up to 10 miles on the treadmill but wanted to push harder. Ofcourse my body wanted to say just give up around 11 miles but i didnt give up. I started crying at 14 miles cause i just couldnt believe it. But I DID IT.

You rule.  I can't wait until I can rack up that many miles at once!

I've always did 5 and managed to push through 8-10 miles then decided what if i could actually do 15. I paced myself, made sure i was hydrated, listened to my body and just kept moving.

Thank you, i love to inspire. I always tell people, you can do it too. I push the limits and see what my body can handle. I'm still a big girl but i'm a runner. Wow, it's such an amazing feeling.
