Now, don't be too excited because it may well have been there were only three of us.  I won't know until official results are posted online.  But I did get a medal.  I finished at 39:26 which was 30 seconds better than my first 5k done on July 3.  So, I"m pretty stoked.

Congrats! Gotta love when you earn a little bling and a PR! 

The first year that I started running, I was so excited when I placed in my age group.   Even though I came in last overall, it was the fastest race I had ran so far.  Be proud of your bling!

Never over explain,...a medal and a top three is a medal and a top three.  We can't all claim such accolades.  Bask in it.  Another standard has been set.  keep moving forward. and Way 2 go!!!!!

I came in third out of four racers (for my age group) in my local turkey trot a few years ago.  Nobody thought anything of it.  But in my heart it was one of the proudest moments in my life...Holding this flat of eggs!!  We know where you're coming from...
