Which hurt More?? DanCBJammin
So DanCBJ in Recovery,....got a quest as we miss you extrodinary accomplisments and training regime.
Which was harder? Recovery from the 100m Trail Run or Plastics?
Are U documenting the PS to Tri training program for those of us who might attempt to follow your lead or enjoy reading your adventures?
Here's hopiing U are recovering at a level that meets your expectations, because I am sure they are more accelerated than the surgeons!!!!
(This is kinda my attempt at a Get Well Soon Card if anyone else wants to jump in here and give Dan a poke!)

Joe,
Thanks a million bro!!! Honestly, from a pain perspective... Rocky Raccooon was more painful than surgery, believe it or not. PS is tough because it is taking a heck of a lot longer to recover from. My biggest workout since surgery was last night with a 1 mile walk on the treadmill at 4mph. I am sticking to Doctor's orders as I ALWAYS have with RNY & PS and know that it will pay dividends in the long run. I go back in 2 weeks to get a final check-up and will be cleared to start training again... I can't wait. I will absolutely document training and continue posting everyday on the workout thread as I always have. Let's just say the workload is going to be tremendous! But, I am ready for it and ready to get back to training... Thanks again for this my friend. You are a champ!

Great perspective Dan, and I appreciate your posts.
I am hoping to get my referral to PS on 8/20 when I go for my 18 mo. post op check up. My weight has been stable (well, I lost a few lbs) since my one year post op, so I should be golden.
I have made a promise to be brave like you...and post pics (eeekkk!!) Although thinking I will put on a sports bra .
Glad to hear you are doing better every day!
Kathy
Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
