Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nancy, and I am a new found cardio addict. I started C25K about 2 months ago, but have found that I enjoy the runs more if I spend less time watching my stop watch and more time just running. I'm doing a little over 2 miles, 3x week (averaging 11:23/ mile according to my iPod toy). Not setting any speed records, but enjoying myself all the same. I will be participating in my first 5K in mid August. www.active.com/running/lexington-ky/a-midsummer-nights-run-2 010
Anyway, I have already picked up some good tips and a ton of encouragment on this board. Thanks!

Welcome to the group. You have the right attitude. Enjoying running and not worrying about times makes it so much more fun. You'll find the mileage creeping up on you just cause you enjoy listening to anotther tune. If you can find a running partner, that gives you extra motivation to get out there and run some more.

Congrats on discovering running! I graduated C25K last October and have been running ever since.
I think the most important thing you can do is enjoy running, so whatever keeps that going for you, do it!
Welcome to the board! I hope you find good information, and offer good information!
