Just wanted to introduce myself

Hi guys, I'm new to this board and just wanted to do a quick intro.  I had rny 5 months ago and everything is going well and surprisingly smoothly.

I have just completed a 30 day quick start to running, where I started on day 1 doing 3 times 1 minute runs and thought I would never make it to the next day - I can now run non stop for 2 1/2 miles and have started an advanced beginners (???) 5k training plan.

I'm so pleased with my progress and I'm loving running, I used to run a lot in my teens, and have always been slightly jealous of people going out on runs when my jogging days were so far behind me.  Well now I'm back and feeling enthusiastic, and so glad to have a focus other than food.
