Hi, I am 2 weeks out. I walk about 2 miles a day on the treadmill. I started using some very light weights at the gym. I did some bicep curls, tricep extensions, and arm lifts. I could only use 5 lb weights in each hand. Out of all the parts of my body, I want my arms to be show stoppers. Any tips or advice. I am on about 300 cal/day,, 54 grms protein per day. Plenty of water.

Thanks,
Michelle

It is going to be very hard when you are at a calorie deficit like that.
Right now you need to focus on not loosing strength.
You can firm and build some strength, but to actually grow/gain muscle while starving your body isn't practicle.
You are going to lose some muscle, it just happens at this stage.
Right now I would focus on the light weights like you are doing but do lots of repititions
4-5 sets of 12-15 repititions.  When you can do all of that without failing, then increase the weights and start again.

Bicept, triceps, pushups if you can do them are great for the arms, shoulders and chest.  YOu can start with a modified pushup and work towards the military style.
Also pull ups are great both overhand and underhand grip as well as close and far grips.
Do some searches for modified push ups and modified pull ups.

Good luck,

Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
