Walking Marathon

Myself, along with other MA Obesity Help ladies will be walking the Boston Marathon route on September 12th to benefit the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute here in Boston.  I am walking in honor of young girl undergoing Chemotherapy for a brain tumor.  Her mom is an OH member that I met on the MA boards while I was still a baby pre-op. 

I'm excited to use my fitness goals to benefit others.  If you are interested in donating to this great cause, you can visit my fundraising page. We are required to raise at least $250 to walk.

Of course, anyone interested in walking with us is also welcome!!  We are team BH20, which links from my page.  We'd love to have you!

Hi Sue, I saw that the other day and was interested in getting involved, but just exactly how many miles is the route you will be doing.  I know there are all different routes.

I'm walking the whole 26.2, god-willing. 
You can also register for a half (13.1) where you join in at Babson College, and there is a 5 mile and 3 mile.
