General Question
Good morning, everyone. I'm Barbara Ann and I'm somewhat new to the board.
I was banded two years ago this month. In the six months following my surgery, I went to the gym and worked out in a moderate intensity about 3 days a week for approximately an hour each time. Unfortunately, I only made it half-way to goal because the scale just stopped moving, I became discouraged, and stopped working out on a regular basis. The good news is that I've maintained that original weight loss.
Now I'm determined to lose my remaining weight, so I've been going to the club each day for at least an hour, and 20 - 25 minutes of that time is spent weight training.
The scale has hardly budged, considering how excellent my eating has been (I'm usually consuming around 900 calories a day) and how active I've been.
Is there such a thing as too much exercise?

Sounds like you might need to up your calories for all the exercise you are doing. Your body is holding on to what it can because it is not getting enough to eat. Try bumping up the calories and see what happens.
Congratulations on maintaining your weighloss. That in itself is quite an accomplishment.
