I'm glad I'm not the only one! . I've got a 5k at the end of July as part of a relay team for a Tri and another half coming up at the end of September...so I'm figuring I'll get back on track soon!  Thanks!!

45 minutes of weights (back/bi/shoulder)
10K in 48:14 on TM (0.5% incline), a PR for me, although it doesn't count on the TM
started with warmup of 5 min @ 7.0 MPH then 15 minutes of speed intervals (2 min @ 9.0 MPH, 1 min recovery @ 7.0 MPH), then alternating 5 min of 7.0 and 7.5 MPH respectively.  When i noticed i was close to a PR for a 10k i turned up the speed to 8.0MPH to finish off the last half mile or so.
10 min warmup/cooldown walking
finished up the day w/ 25 min on the stairmaster (109 floors)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
