6.2 miles on the tm in 53 minutes (my best time yet) and a light back and bi workout.  On vacation this week so hoping I can get some good runs in out west in North Dakota and Montana.

where you headed to in western ND? I think the bad lands has some nice trails. Haven't been able to hike them cuz of my weight but some day =) I live in Williston which is close to the border of montana so I am pretty close to the badlands

My wife's family lives in Sidney, we'll be spending the 4th weekend fishing Lake Sakakawea.. we'll be coming through Williston on the way home and having some breakfast or dinner there I am sure!  Hoping to do a long run around the lake this weekend.

That sounds FUN!! We are going camping at white earth bay and I am hoping to maybe just go for a walk somewhere around the lake area. It's so beautiful out there. Lake Sakakawea is always beautiful though =-) Hope you have a great holiday!!

I just ran several laps around my office chasing the dog.  Not sure what that amounts to, but we were both panting.

We've walked two miles outside already.  More to come!  I'm a good dog-sitter.  :)

oh man, i've totally fallen off the training routine since my half...i can count on one hand the amount of times i've run in the past two weeks...still cross training, but i kind of miss the running...i'm hoping to get back on board when i get back from vacation next week...and perhaps the rest will put a new spring in my step!

has this happened to anyone else...you do your *big* race and then just kind of slack off??

rest day today...seriously,  jetskiing in the ocean destroyed me - those waves were killer on the legs/butt!!

oh yeah, i always feel a let-down after a big event.  that's partly why i keep a couple of big events scheduled throughout the year so i don't totally lose focus.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
