i'm just being nosey here because I'm interested in where everyone's motivation comes from.  For me....it's wanting to teach my daughter a healthy way of life.  She is young enough that she won't remember me as an obese person.  I hope that my example will teach her that eating healthy and exercising are parts of everyday life.

I hope my children remember me when I was big, and remember that  i decided to change, and put in the hard work to make that happen. So, they understand at an early age, that anything is possible, and they also understand that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Take care...

My motivation is knowing that my son HAD the fat dad and now has a new dad to teach him a better way of life. I hope he learns to hate the fat dad and NEVER become him.
No longer about weight , it's all about living.

My motivation is the feeling that i have now. That i'm nolonger bound by depression or self doubt. My accomplishments are my driving force to keep moving. I love to see and feel the sweat dripping from my body. Just knowing that this once broken down women, hendered by guilt and shame is active and living freely.
