1st race complete!

 Did the 5K tonight.  We had torrential down pours, thunder and lightening and then it cleared about 20 minutes before the race.  The sun came out and it got steamy but I finished in 29 min 50 seconds so very proud of myself.  Will post pics when my friend emails them on to me.  My sister and I are eying up a 10K end of August so we shall see. Thanks for all your support!

Congratulations. And a great time too!

you should totally go for the 10K. What's another couple of miles.

 Thank you, thank you... the 10K is August 22nd called 1st Annual Run Gloucester.  I'll let you know more when I do.

Congratulations!  I can see that you've got the bug now.  After that 10K, you'll start dreaming of half marathons!
