NY Half Marathon

I registered for the lottery today for the NYC half marathon in March 2011.  Does anyone know the likelyhood of getting in.  I have a cousin in Jersey who seems to get in every year. She is not an elite runner so I know she doesn't get in based on her times.  This will be my first one.  Training will begin as soon as my dr clears me to get back to exercise, I just had a tummy tuck 2 weeks ago. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

i think that last year they had 11,000 spots with 22,000 in the lottery. The odds are obviously about half. I'm thinking about it. looks awesome!

I am 0-3 in mt washington lottery.

 I was looking too.  I ran in the 13.1 in Flushing park this year for my first half, which was cool.  Running in the city seems like a rush.
