Hey guys...been busy with my business so I've been a bit scarce. I went to the gym and did my usual 20 minutes walk/jog on the treadmill and 25 minutes in the weight room. Increased the weights a bit today and I'm really pooped!

2.6 mile jog -  .4 cool down walk and 55 minutes of weights- chest- tri's and abs.

Due to thunderstorms, my swim race was cancelled, so I had to take my workouts inside today.

45 minutes on a spin bike in heart rate zone 2
1550 yard swim - including warm-up, cool down, and 3 sets of 200 yard intervals

I was disappointed that the OWS was cancelled.  I was looking forward to competing in a swim-only event, where I didn't have to save anything for the bike and run.

10.3 mile walk on a beautiful day along the bayshore. Lots of ducks, geese, pelicans fishing, other birds, and chipmunks.

My Garmin was great on the first 5 miles. Then we had a water break/bathroom break and on the way back, I looked at it about 1.4 miles later and it had stopped tracking. My coach (who has one) said maybe the it lost the satalite when I went into the bathroom and I had to hit start again. But then it kept shutting off. I had fully charged it two days ago and not used it yet. UGH!

8.84 mile run. Pace 10:35  Avg. mph 5.66  Improvement of 3 minutes from two months ago.
Wish could break that 10:00 pace on my longer runs! ARGH!!

Good luck Andrew! Let me know how your pace goes. On my 8.84, and on my 10k, my first half is getting quicker...but my second half staying about the same. Not quite sure what to do except keep up with  my hill and endurance work.

Looking foward to hearing about your 10k!

 I was up and out the door at 5:30 this morning...went for a 2.5 mile run...ran all of it, except for about .14 miles...I got a garmin forerunner 50 for my birthday...I love it....I did my run in 30.22...I now know how I can improve...Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!
