The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
Thanks guys. It's been quite a ride. I'm glad that, what I consider the final chapter in my battle with obesity, will finally gonna come to a conclusion at IMCDA. Scared, apprehensive, excited... (and did I mention scared?) are all feelings I'm feeling right now as the 2 week countdown to race day approaches. By no means will I ever quit triathlon. It's in my blood and it's who I am now, however, I seriously doubt I will ever do another Ironman. It's taken a toll on my body and my mind and I now realize that it's not so much about doing the race... it's about getting to the starting line. It will all be real to me when I'm finally standing on the shore of Lake Coeur d' Alene with my toes in the sand in the final moments before my day begins on the 27th. Wish me luck! :)
