My Plastic Surgery Is Delayed For 1 Week...

Hey Ya'll,

I just thought I would give an update here from gloomy So Cal... I was scheduled for surgery tomorrow, however, when I went in for my final pre-op visit esterday, they informed me that the production company from The Discovery Channel was interested in me and my story. After discussing with the producer and my surgeon, we are pushing the surgery bac****il next week so they can get ample footage of me in my everyday life, cycling, swimming, running, etc, interacting with my family, and they also want to get footage of my surgery and recovery. It's a pretty cool thing and I am looking forward to the experience, and moreso looking forward to getting this skin off! You better believe I will be sporting "Post-Op PRs" shirts on National TV! Have a good day ya'll...

I think my surgeon tipped off the media about my story... It certainly was nothing I did. Who knows? But, it's all good and I am way excited...

That is awesome!  Can't wait to see it!  Good luck w/ the surgery!  Plastics is no joke.  I will say that.  I had bracialplasty, breast lift, & a full abdominalplasty all at once.  I think I wound up in surgery for about 12 hours.  The abdominalplasty was rough, but well worth it!  The road to recovery was longer and slower than I had expected but I'm glad I did it in the long run.

Can you tell me the story behind the shirts?   Or is it somewhere on your blog?  Link me maybe?   Thanks!  :)

Hope ya'll have a great day! :)

That is great Dan. I cannot wait to see you on the Discovery Channel, I will have to DVR it so I can watch it over and over. Your story and your blog have been my biggest inspiration on my journey, I have read and re-read your story several times. Your story and what you have accomplished show me that anything is possible, and that I am not crazy for all that I hope to accomplish one day. Good luck and quick recovery from your surgery.

Dude, that's awesome!  Stinks that your surgery is delayed, but for good reason!!  Better keep us all posted on an air date for that show!!  What're you getting nipped & tucked?
