Pretty amazing.  Never a runner - still not a runner - really a jogger, but moving my feet at more than a brisk walk for up to 5K distance.  50 years old, still 40 pounds overweight.  But a 5K race on July 3.  Woohoo!

You know what???  You are a runner.

Speed is matter of perception.  Look at the olympic athletes in different disciplines.  Marathoners vs. sprinters.  I don't think you could say that either one of them is not a runner.  It's just two different ends of the same discipline.

Congrats on your success.

Good luck on your July 3rd race.

Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Congratulations!!!  It IS graduation season! :)

I was reading an old issue of Runner's World today at the gym and there was a line about you know you're a runner when you care if you're considered a jogger or a runner....chances are you're a runner....Dude, you're so a runner!!
