I haven't had an augmentation but I am a D cup. It doesn't really impact my running except that I do have to wear a real sports bra. Those shirts with the bra as a built-in shelf don't quite cut it.

Some gals have to wear two sports bras to keep from bouncing too much, though.

Yep i'm a DD and I have to double up on sports bras :(

And like Scott said, I soooo could use a reduction :( My main reason is because they actually interfere with my running. i would looooveee to be an A/B so I could run so much easier- just cut em off! lol  Because I am poor, I will just deal with it. For now.

My wife found a good sports bra at Fleet Feet in Winston-Salem, NC. It is a national chain. She says to go to a running store and try them on.

I don't have any personal experience with augmentation.  I had mine reduced from "G" down to a "C" before bypass.

However, my friend had augmentation after years of being flat and had them removed 6 months later.  She said she loved them in a bikini, but never felt comfortable running in them.

Here's a link to a message board that is specific to breast surgery.  www.breasthealthonline.org/cgi-bin/mwf/board_show.pl.  It was a good source of info when I had my reduction.  You may be able to get first-hand experience there.
