Good Morning everyone,

I've got a concerning thing happening. I run on average 6 days a week and approx. between 3-6 miles per session. These past two weeks I have not run the hilly course, so it's been mostly flat or slight inclines, etc. A week ago I was fitted for new running shoes and they are "real" comfortable. Now for my "concern". My lower back, quads and hamstrings are so sore (like achy and stiff). It's like you do something for the first time and the day after you can't move. I suspect this will decrease, but what caused it. Could it be the new shoes? I just don't get it.

Today's a rest day...Yeah!

Are you stretching?  The reason why I say if you workout and dont stretch before and especially after you can end up with stiffness.
