official time for 5K: 27:49.  Time on my stopwatch: 27:15.  Previous time: 34:59.  I'm beyond excited!!!!

I was super proud to wear my team shirt and let people read the back as I passed them on the hills!

Also proud to have run in the 18th annual Team Hoyt Foundation run that raises money for Easter Seals and Boston Children's Hospital.  It was a great community event and I was thrilled to have my mom come out and support me.

THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone on this board for your constant inspiration!

Next stop, 1/2 Marathon - a TEAM event with myself and Katie H.!!!

Sue-

CONGRATS ON THE TIME!  What a great accomplishment!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
