My last two runs....
I've been visiting with my in-laws and am running in new territory while here. We had the adventure trying to get here and the jet lagg got me behind a few days of running. So, that being said....
Friday I ran a nice gentle jog and did 2 miles. I went along a canal, past the lake, the little shopping center and around the other side of the lake. I saw some beautiful scenery including ducks, blue herons, a stork or two and some other birds I have no idea what they are. I also got some weird looks as the majority of people here don't seem to run. They ride bikes. Thankfully most of my runs are off trail so I am able to avoid them! Don't want to get run over.
Sunday I did a "long" jog and tried a new section. I ran down some walking paths, around the corner through the woods, past the wild cows standing on the sidewalks...yep, WILD COWS. LOL. I even had to go back and take pictures because this isn't something I come across running in the states.
Tomorrow my run takes me past a windmill, tulip stands, busstation, and a small village shopping center. I must say, running in the Netherlands is a whole different experience! I look forward to what this weeks runs will introduce me to...

How fun for you! Sounds like you are having such a peaceful and great time!
Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning inAfrica , a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
