Fitness regimens pre- and post-op ...
Hello folks,
I'm looking at having WLS (either RNY or VSG) late July or early August. I started a workout regimen last week to get my body in the mode of working out so that I can jump right back into after surgery.
A couple questions:
1. How long was it before you were able to work out at your full pre-op strength?.
2. My goal is to prepare for and run a series of 5 and 10ks beginning 4 months out from surgery. Is this reasonable?
