I JUST WANT TO TRAIN!!!
I feel like the hypochondriac little brother here but wow this has not been an easy training season. So last night I developed a bloody nose that took 45 minutes to get to stop. This morning it started bleeding again and it lead to 2 doctor appointments and 6 hours in the ER. I now have a packed nose and have been instructed to not exercise for 2 weeks -- I do plan on flatly ignoring this and starting back up on Monday. My ironman plans have gone from feeling comfortable and hoping for a 14 hour finish to praying that I'll be ready and 17 hours isn't a stretch. I had 3 weeks of doctor's order light training earlier and now this.
I know Ceour d'Alene will be a great experience though!

Wow... you too, eh? I tweaked my leg again at track.
I think I need to take a whole month off again and heal up my leg. And my Ironman is exactly 6 months away and I'm in a PANIC!

I hope the bloody nose resolves itself, and that you are able to get back to your workouts without any issues.
I hear you! I lost a whole month when I broke my collarbone. My running and fitness went into the freaking tank. I feel like I have never run before. Every day is now an effort. My New years resolution is basically shot (run an average of 3 miles a day) I'm so far behind, and the way it feels right now, I'm not sure I'll be able to catch up. Especially since I'm not running every day now. I have had to replace some runs with swims and cycling. Both of which I wasn't able to due when injured because of the pain it caused in the shoulder.
My 70.3 is now just 2 months away and I finally got back into the pool last night. The shoulder is still stiff/tight and it hurts a bit. I'm doing most of my pulling with the non injured side and the left arm is just kind of going through the motions.
I'm not looking forward to the misery of being in survival mode for the 70.3

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
I hope that this resolves quickly for you. The blood pressure question is a good one - did they check that for you? My husband got a lot of nose bleeds when his blood pressure was high.
