Tuesday's workouts!!!

After looking at a calander to see what day it is today, I was able to start today's thread.  ;)

Anyway, after a few lackluster weeks of running (streak still intact), I have had two really good workouts in a row.  Today I did a 3.1 mile tempo run in 27:20.  Yesterday, I did 3 1/4's @ a 93 second average.

We had the baby on mothers day and it has been a tough 10 days or so.  There were a few days in the NICU for baby, C-Section, blood loss, and transfusion and a trip  back to the hospital on Saturday for more monitoring for mom.  We have pulled through the other end and are doing very well now.

Also did a "tempo" run of 3.12 miles in 26:27 mins. at about 8:37min. mile pace. Felt great! Now off to work.

One of these days I will attempt to run, have always kinda hated it, but then again, always been fat.  Buttt I did do an hour of aquatics today for the first time in years, so that is my one weekly class until I can get more strength and a bit better at working out.  Tonight though break for the bf and I and back to gym tomorrow.  Maybe I will try the bike tomorrow.

7.25 mile run and 200 of 300 pushups done so far.

Back and Bicep work, only 10 min of running, but will get some more in tonight- maybe another spin class...love those!

Ran 1 mile in 13 min, then a had a much needed "break", then ran 1.25 miles, walked .35 miles at 3.8 at 3.50 incline, ran the rest of my 3 miles in 39:15...very tired today...this rain is killing me...

rest day number two after the race...  my vacation is over tomorrow and it is a travel day, so will have a third rest day before i have my first post-race light workout on thursday.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??
