I just had to share this with everyone. I know it isn't all that impressive because some of you guys are wicked fast, but I'm excited!

I did my normal 5 mi run yesterday and I hit my personal best- I did it in under 50 mins! (ok, it was like 49:15 but It's still under it!) That was a goal of mine that I've had for a long time, and I did it. So now I will work on shaving it down to 45 mins.

Considering a year ago I couldn't run to the end of my driveway, i'm really proud of myself and had to share.

That is awsome! Just the fact that you can run 5 miles at any speed is great.

Awesome job! Only one way to go from there!!!  Way to go!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I am most impressed!  That's fantastic.  I just had my surgery almost 2 weeks ago....and I dream of being able to run!  You're an inspiration!

I, myself had achieved something that I have never expected. Joining a 100 meter sprint competition is a gamble, knowing that my competitors are definitely excellent runners. But I know I can withstand inspite of my situation, and guess what --- I MADE IT!
