Ok, so a few posts above I posted a PM i received from a dude about the team. I kept his name anonymous out of respect for him. I recieved another PM back from him, and am posting his name and the whole message so you can see who and what this dude is all about. Here is my reply and his message to me. "I am a WHAT???" LOLOLOLOL
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chad,

I appreciate your kind words! You PM'd me that you ride 250-300 miles a week, twice as much as me, and were simply telling me about your "epic" month of riding more than you were asking about nutrition. After going to your profile when I recieved your PM, saw your **** poor negative attitude, and all the filthy / profane language you spew on it, I decided YOU ARE NOT the type of person I want to associate with. THAT is why I blew you off. You are a craby, grumpy, sour person who feels like the world owes you something and that YOU got dealt a bad hand. Again, NOT the type of person I want to be around or associate with. I honestly feel sorry for you. I hope one day our paths cross at a local cycling event so you can see what a jersey that flaunts our team name and our purpose looks like for the brief few seconds it would take me to leave you in the dust. Best of luck in your endeavors and hopefully you can find a silver  lining in the dark clouds that seem to be around you. Later...

Dan

DANCBJAMMIN wrote:Well Chad,

I guess we will just have to suck without you... I did 3 marathons 3 ULTRA Marathon events 5 IRONMAN events, and countless road races here in North Texas in the past year, and will be a Media Slot at IRONMAN Arizona this year, and will wear my Team Shirt PROUDLY. I just rode the North Texas Classic on Saturday and if my jersey was ready, I would have worn it then.  Sorry you are not proud or happy about your WLS experience and wish you all the best...

Dan, that is halarious. Dude, I'll throw my hat in the ring here. I'm 260lbs still but I'll bet him that I'll double any consecutive miles he runs. I hope he runs a marathon, I'll run 50. I'll be my salary for a year on that race! My race number will be WLS!

I think that is halarious that someone has the never to be so embarrassed about WLS. Does this dude have hanging skin from losing weight? What, does he wake up every morning and say DAMN YOU SKINN, I HATE YYOOOOUUUUU (then the camera pans back and you see the ocean, pans back and the mountains and the earth and the yoouu is still going).

Dude don't sweat dorks like this. You and I both know he's never ran a 76.6 miler or even a marathon probably. I guarantee you a guy like this has never rode a century and surly a guy like this has not overcome his obesity problem. We all know obesity is a mental battle and if you lose the battle, you lose the war. Sounds like this dude will be struggling for years to come.

But yea, you are just a ***** Dan, face it! LOL.

Dan - Don't sweat it. Sounds like Chad needs an attitude adjustment. I love the part where he can read your jersey in the few seconds it takes you to pass him and leave him eating your dust. LOL.

Child puhlease!!!

It is a sad fact that there are people in the world that are happier when they are sad or angry.

It appears that Chad is one of those people.
On to happier things... I have met Dan but not Jeff, but I get a since of Jeff's personality with the tatoo my ass and wear shorts with no butt comment.

Hmm I wonder whart it was like growing up at their house!????

Curious of this is the Chad that did Clearwater on a media slot and will be doing Kona this year also on a media slot?
If it is that Chad then I will say I got a lot of inspiration from him as I started my path -- if it's a different Chad I'm not quite sure who it is and this is a mute point.
Regardless I believe the whole team concept is to support and encourage each other to the start lines of our personal races and the challenges each of us struggle with to get there.
Personally I know for a while I was able to keep up with Dan -- similar millage and speeds.  Unfortunately that's no longer the case but it doesn't make my journey any less significant.
It can easily feel like our own sprint/olympic triathlons, 5k's, 10k's are small, insignifcant races compared to people doing ironman triathlons, multiple marathons, and ultra marathons.
I'm hoping that I'm part of this team as I've been there since the start of it.
Unfortunately I'm not as active on these boards as I used to be -- but I've been upfront with the reasons.  I am excited to start my triathlon season and I'm really hoping to meet the Chad I spoke of at CdA in June.  I also look forward to the day when I can hang out with Dan and Sherry and just soak up the knowledge they have on training and nutrition and all things exercise.  I also know I gained a lot of information for many of you (who like me) are doing more trolling than active posting currently.

PS, Dan can you confirm with me that you got my info and payment?  Looking forward to sporting the goods soon!
