BAD  arthritis day, must be the projected snow storm, yes I said snow.  They are predicitng several inches of heavy wet snow tuesday into wednesday, and that always messes with my arthritits.  So i had an easy day just:

60 minutes on treadmill at 2.8 mph,
60 minutes weight training--upper body

Got it -- 60 miles on the bike.  Took 3:30 for a pretty slow average speed but managed to do the last 20-25 miles straight into the wind, ughh!

Rest day for me today after my race Saturday and recovery Sunday.
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I just started my training. I had a good day at work today, then got to the gym.  Did a 30 minute work out on the tredmill, at 5.8 speed.  Hoping to up this week.  I need to get my heart rate up a little bit more.  So hopfully a run tomorrow.

I got in a ten mile bike ride.  This cold and cold medicine is kicking my butt.  Energy level is at about zero this evening.
