Saturday Workouts!!!

I am at the hospital with the wife.  The baby is on the way.  We got here last night at 9:30pm by the request of her Dr.  There have been some issues that require taking the baby 2 1/2 weeks early.  Still full term though - thank god!  All is well and the baby should be here by the evening.

After working two doubles (actually 1.5 because I left early yesterday)  I am beat.  Still got out for two miles around Connecticut's capital building this morning.  Really nice run.  Contractions or not - a streak is a streak!  ;)

What did you do today?

Wow, your commitment is amazing! I didn't have time for a workout today - worked all morning, cleaned/cooked all afternoon getting ready for a big family dinner tomorrow, and soon I have to get ready for a Mother/Daughter banquet at church with my mom. I hate missing my workouts...

Scott, it sounds like you've trained well for those sleepless nights with a newborn.

Today was a 4 miler, mostly walking, with the 15K training group.  Only one recruit came today because of the cold, rainy weather and his knee was bothering him.

Afterwards, I hit the pool for a 1600 yard swim.

FIRST THINGS FIRST!!

CONGRATS SCOTT (AND WIFE)! WHAT A WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY YOU WILL BE HAVING!

Today, I did a 5K in Tacoma. The course was around a beautiful golf course. First 1.25 down hill. WHICH MEANS... you must come back up!

I posted stats under separate post with a pic of me and my kiddo.

Hope you all are having a great Saturday!

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Everything is going well so far.  I kind of said that I was going to get breakfast.  Of course I had to run to get it!  ;)  Thanks for the well wishes.
