At What Point?
Does it stop hurting? I have been walking, jogging, bike riding, riding the elliptical or cardio exercising for at least 45 minutes every day for the last 2 months. I probably miss one or two days a week. At what point do I wake up in the morning without a new muscle hurting? Oh and I have recently added in surging to my walking/jogging routine to get my heart rate pumping. Do you ever reach a point that you arent sore?

I haven't had a day yet that I wasn't sore. That's what keeps me going. I know that the soreness means I am doing something good for myself. Just learn the difference between sore muscles and hurting muscles. Sore muscles usually feel pretty good after you stretch them and get moving again. The hurting ones continue through the workout and need some rest.
No longer about weight , it's all about living.
you may want to take a rest day during the week. Give your muscles a chance to have some recovery.
I find that I am a bit sore here and there, no matter what I do. I stretch, but then I push myself. I may do extra time on the eliptical which doesn't make me sore, but then I hit the weights and do some hard work and feel it a day or so later. That just lets me know that I'm strengthening my muscles. But again, I take a day rest between working on weights. Break down the muscle, rest it, build it.
Maybe you should reframe the "soreness" as your muscles getting "energized"!
So when you wake up stiff, just say...wow...my muscles were working and are totally energized. then limp out of bed to a good breakfast and do it all over again LOL
It will get easier. Switch up your routines, add some gentle stretches and rest breaks.
Hugs,
Kathy

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning inAfrica , a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
