Thursday Workouts!!!

I don't have a treadmill. I spent my money on a recumbant bike. I want a rowing machine but a good one is about $1400 and I don't have a good place to put it.

10 minutes on the treadmill, 25 minutes in the weight room this morning. It's a gorgeous day out, so a little later this afternoon I plan on a bike ride.

 5k on the TM, chest and tris.  Finally starting to feel good again.  Hoping to do a decent long run this weekend.  Lost a ton of weight since being sick and slowing down the routines.. figure that out?

I did a quick 3 mile run this a.m. Trying to increase my speed and it appears to be working. Ran that 3mi. in 8:45/mile pace (from a high of 10:30/mile). Fastest yet! This is so fun

back ext & hip flexors
tried out the new tibia machine

WICKED excited about running in the a.m. - got myself a brand spankin' new pair of asics kayanos this evening that I CAN'T wait to try out!! They're actually sitting on the chair next to my gym bag taunting me right now...run....run....run farther...

60 minutes on the treadmil at 3 mph, followed by 60 minutes lower body weight training.  Also my first pilates class to strengthen my back and spine.

RNY 10/14/08 LBL 6/14/11    135 pounds lost, after bounceback regain.  And I am OK with that.  It enabled me to have double hip double knee replacements in the 9 month periond between Oct 2011 and June 2012.

4.2 miles of trail running this evening after a foot workout by my chiropractor.  I hate running downhill   I can take the hills if they are uphill, but downhill is so painful on the knees.  My punishment for completing this course is the "short" 12 mile run on Saturday.
