I know I am getting stronger, and I am happy about that, don't get me wrong.  I am concerned that the weight has slowed a lot.  Last month I lost 13 pounds and this month I am struggling to lose 5 pounds...

Hope everyone has a great Cinco De Mayo....

Are your clothes getting bigger even though the weight loss slowed? If you are adding lean muscle while shedding fat the scale won't move a lot but you will notice in your clothes and in how you feel. Keep at it and the scale will catch up later.

Thanks Nate, I guess my shirts have been getting looser, I just haven't really noticed.  And I have to say that my energy is getting better and I feel stronger...I hate complaining, so I will just look at the positive...I work out like a fiend and I love it!!!  I know I am doing things right and as you pointed out my clothes are fitting better.  Plus my son (14) said to me the other day that I was looking skinny, and that put a smile on my face...
Again Thank You!!!

2 Mile run for me this morning which is a major step, the longest I have run since my last 1/2 marathon in January due to my hip injury.  I totally have to wrap my hip up and look like a big dork but no pain while I'm running so yay!  Now if they could only fix the pain when I'm not running :)

I'm currently only allowed to increase 1/4 mile every other run or so, so this 2 miles is thrilling for me.  Hopefully I can keep increasing my distance without aggravating the injury.  My next 1/2 is in September so I really need to get back to some serious training.

Did a quick (9:00min. pace) 5 miles this morning. Temps. heating up a bit in So. Cal. Back into tank tops. I really enjoy feeling fit and slim...It's this feeling that keeps me running and out of the fridge. Someone said it the other day, there is a definite transfer addiction from food to running. This addiction is far better for the body, mind and soul

Have a beautiful day...Debbie

I am just FLAT OUT TIRED today. So, thinking this may be a rest day for  me
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Can't believe I was running 5 miles for a "regular" run just a month ago!  Where does the cardio disappear too!?

Oh well, didn't take me overnight to get there, will take a minute or two to get back.  Been doing my PT exercises faithfully!!
