I can't seem to lose the last few pounds.  It's like my body refuses to let loose of any more.  I'll be honest, I didn't regularly exercise after my surgery.  I have been going strong the last few weeks.  I even participated in (and finished) my first race 5/2/2010.  (Bloomsday, Spokane WA)  Still no weight loss.  What can I do?  I am eating and drinking (ok, so not always water) and exercising.  Give me some advice?  Thank you.

I'm in the same predicament as you. I'd like to lose 10 more pounds. Haven't lost anything in 9 months (haven't gained any either). I've been a "running crazy person" approx. 100mi. per month. Still haven't lost anything. I'm starting to believe I'm at the end of weight loss and it's time to start learning to maintain. Exercise will be the mainstay of that effort.

Have a good day...Debbie

When you're at the end of the weight loss journey, I think that's when it's most important to track everything you eat.  It's so easy to underestimate the number of calories that you're eating each day.

Good luck,

Cassie

I am so happy for you two!  I look forward to reaching my goal...just 5 more pounds!  I'll just keep walking, and hope to join you!
