Monday Workouts

 I guess I will start us off this morning...
10 min warm-up on treadmill .75 miles
squats, calf raises, leg extensions, leg curls, bicycle crunches, knee pull ins  x2
800 meter rowing, 3 miles on bike
shoulder press, front raises, lateral raises, oblique pull ins x2
10 min on treadmill 4% incline at 3.5
triceps pull down w/rope, triceps extension, triceps dips, abs crossovers x2

Hi all...

it is an absolutely gorgeous day today! I just got back from a brisk 35 minute walk and 5 minute stretch. I've learned that I can't jog on the pavement, my arthritic knee woke up after months of slumber when I did a walk/jog on the pavement a couple of days ago. It doesn't hurt when I jog on the treadmill, so I'll have to do it that way.

Did 2.5 mi at a faster pace than I normally do. That was it, but I had fun.

Today marks the first day of my half-iron training plan.
1300-yard swim
strength training

Since I ran 13 miles yesterday, I'll add the 35-minute run to my cycling day tomorrow. 

It's going to be strange following a training plan after 4 months of just moving for the fun of it.  It was a nice mental break.

I just completed my first walk/run of the couch to 5k program.  5 minutes of stretching, the program and 5 minutes of cool-down and stretching.  Yay me !!!
