Well my first half marathon is tomorrow. I had 4 months to train and did **** poor job of it. My longest run/walk (mostly walk) was 9 miles and that took 2 1/2 hrs. My lack of training aside there are two things I am certain of: 1) I am running tomorrow, rain or shine(looks like heavy rain at that) and 2) I will finish, I may be dead last but I will finish. I am running this with my daughter and she may well see dear ol Dad puke at the side of the road and walk more than he runs, but I will be damned if she sees me quit. On a bright note I am hoping the see Dan (saxman) and his wife who are running in the race as well and I have a massage schedule for Monday!

Have a good race tomorrow. Good for you for having the determination to finish no matter what! I think that is great.

Have a GREAT TIME!  Make sure you get a pic at the finish line (after puking), and ENJOY that massage Monday!  Congrats on your first Half!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
