Congrats Marie!  You complete one of the most difficult half-Ironman distance courses in the world!   Pat yourself on the back for crossing that finish line! :)

Oh, I've been patting myself on the back all week. I think I broke my hand! LOL

Here's my race report:

http://fattyfightsback.blogspot.com/2010/05/wildflower-weekend-for-real.html

I had a BLAST! My injury is still driving me crazy though. I have a lot of pain when I run but I recover really quickly. I need to figure out what is going on and get it healed up. Unfortunately, I only have 6 more PT visits between now and Aug 1st. Damn insurance!

Marie,

Congratulations on your amazing finish.  Tackling that race with your calf injury just demonstrates your determination and mental strength.

Since you've almost exhausted your PT visits without complete resolution, consider finding a chiropractor that does active release and graston.  Sherry pushed me to look into ART and it fixed what PT couldn't.

Great job on pushing through the pain.  I would suggest you find a chiropractor to help fix you up.  The one I go to does ART and accupuncture and the visits are less than a normal co-pay.  He also works a lot more areas than the PT.   Good luck to you.
