Too much B-12?? (x-post)
I posted this on the main board but I figured I'd put it over here too to see if any of you fitness guru's had any thoughts on this...
I'm almost 19 months post op and down 262lbs from my highest weight and down 209lbs since the day of my surgery...and pumped with my results thus far. :)
I got bloodwork done at my surgeon's office last week to check all my vitamin levels and such. Today I got my results in the mail and it said I have an elevated B12 level. According to the paperwork the average range is 182-803 pg/mL - mine was 1500.
I've been taking Spring Valley sublingual high potency B-12 2500mcg (from Wal-Mart or Target), one daily.
Has anyone else had elevated B-12 levels? I've looked it up online and haven't found anything that has said there are adverse effects from having too much B12 in your system. I feel great, actually I've never felt as good as I do now. I'm running a bunch, in preparation for a half marathon and hit the gym at least three days a week as well.
I'm headed back to my surgeon's office on Tuesday for an appointment with a different member of the team there, so I'll throw this question at them when I go in then, but I was wondering if anyone on here had anything to offer....thoughts? Anyone with a similar experience?
Thanks in advance guys!!

Speaking with my sports nut and surgeon, and doing research on my own... there is nothing wrong with having too much b12... No side effects that I have heard or seen.... I take a lot... it gives me energy :)
