Friday Workouts!!!

I am just back from  4.75 which has given me 100.4 miles for the month.  It is a nice and cool morning here in New England. 

How did you do today?

5 miles today at 8:29,8:36,8:58,9:01,8:53 and walked 1/4 mile in between ea mile.
    No longer about weight , it's all about living.

I did it!!!  I ran 2.25 miles without stopping!!!!  My mile was 13:15, but after that I don't remember...LOL  My speed varied from 4.5 to 4.7....so happy!!!!

Good Morning all! I did a quick 3 mi. at 8:48 pace. Felt good. Planning a long run again tomorrow when time is not an issue.

Since last June I have been at a weight stall. I'd like to kick about 10 more pounds by this June. I hit 115 mi. running this month on 1200 cals per day and can't loose. This week or so , I'm increasing my cals. to 1800-2000/day and see were that gets me. I'll keep you posted.

Debbie, I'm wondering about increasing cals too. I am still losing (albeit VERY slowly) but I think i'm not eating enough to maintain running and lose. But it's hard to think that when I AM still losing, just like 4 lb a month now.

It's really odd! One day I read about "starvation mode" and the next I read it's baloney! I know I'm at the end of the rapid weight loss time, but there has got to be some kind of reliable info. on this. Does anyone know where I can learn "a thing or two"?

I just finished 4.2 miles and it was a nice run! I had not ran since last Friday when I had a bad run; no energy.
