iPod or something..
I am looking at getting an iPod or Zoon. Something that I can listen to while I run. Does anyone have any recommandations. Also, isn't there an arm band or something so that I don't have to carry it also? I am hoping to start the C25K by this weekend, if I get the money for the iPod. Thanks for any help you can give me.
I have a 2nd gen. ipod touch that I love to use. I use it for my c25k runs, my food/exercise journal (highly recommend Lose it, which is a free ap) Don't know which Ipod your looking for, the apple store has a used ipod section where you can buy some of the 2nd gen ipod touches pretty inexpensively. there is also arm bands for them. I use an arm band for mine or I also have a clip on to clip it to my waist if I'm listening to something and just working around the house.
Don't know anything about the Zoon.

for running, I really like my Sansa... it's like a Ipod Shuffle I guess. Really small, pretty cheap, and I only have "running" music on it. Its very lightweight and clips ontom my waistband easily. Very easy controls.
I have a "big" MP3 player that has all my music on it, but I found it a pain when running, even with the arm band. This small one is perfect and still holds plenty of music.
You can look on ebay and overstock for similar items. These "small" ones can hold a few hundred songs and cost under $50, especially if used or refurbished.

I've got the 5th gen. ipod nano - I got it to use the Nike + sensor thing and because I refuse to re-sync my old 30g ipod because I don't have all that music anymore!! I use an Belkin armband that it clips into inside a thin hard plastic case - but still lets you use the wheel to navigate through menus. I wicked happy with it - I use it for lifting and running - no problems here!!

I love love love my ipod touch! Wi**** was an iphone, but love that I can have music, podcasts, and apps on it. With the apps - I have a couch to 5k app, 10k app, an interval timer, run log, mydailyplate app. Oh and I can get on the internet if there is a wireless connection and get email as well through the internet.
If you can do it - get an ipod touch.
