After a long week of physio, I am back at it. Did 750 m in the pool yesterday and up early for a 4km run this a.m. (doing the C25K still - today is W7D1 again) Physio again tonight on my shoulders, skapula and neck. Thankfully my chest pull is better so breathing isn't excrutiating anymore.

Got in a 5k run in 24.5 minutes and a back/bi workout.  Lungs are still not right from bronchitis so I'm still off my plan.  Hopefully next week I can get a good long run in to get back to my training plan.

2.3 for me as I had a busy morning. 7 miles over two days will get me 100 for the month. Been about 3.5 years since i've done that!

Nice Scott!!  100 is killer!

This morning I did a 4.85 mile run plus a .23 mile cool down for a total of 5.08 miles today and just over 66 miles for the month...not quite as nice as Scott's 100, but I'm working on it...though I don't think I'll make it to 100 this month!

I did 2.0 miles on the Elliptical in 30min (not fast, but my HRM had my "zone" set low today. UGH!) and 1hr of chest and tris w/ some abs with my trainer today.

Since the knee hasn't given me any trouble as I've increased my mileage, I resumed my speedwork today on the treadmill with 4 half mile repeats at 8:30.  With warm-up and cool-down, I ran 4.25 miles and felt good.

I just have to keep up the stretches to avoid reinjury.

Yoga class for me today. Was hoping to get a run in but worked 11 hours today, so just came home to spend time with the kids.

did my long run on the local greenway, 12 miles in one hour forty two minutes w/ negative splits.  average pace of 8:33/mile.  miles 11 and 12 were 8:12 and 7:55 respectively.  I felt pretty good, but the legs will be sore tonight/tomorrow.  this should be the last long run before the HIM in 2 1/2 weeks.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
