Thursday Workouts!! (I think it's Thursday :) )

I just did 2.6 miles.  I felt great but it was a tough run.  The canal I usually run on had an open gate and that means bad news.  Plan B was to run on my awfully dangerous road which I occationally run on but I forgot that the high school was starting soon.  That made it 10 times worse because of the speeding kids and teachers. 

Anyway, I made it and finished off with 4 - 20 second sprints to add a bit of speed to another wise typical run.

8 mile run today in 1:24:33 b4 work. Lunch will be 40 minutes of weights - Back and chest today.
    No longer about weight , it's all about living.

Today will be lower body with the Personal trainer, 60 minutes on the treadmill, and then As if that wasn't enough I have Physical therapy for my back this afternoon. 

I guess my whole day is going to be one exercise after another.

RNY 10/14/08 LBL 6/14/11    135 pounds lost, after bounceback regain.  And I am OK with that.  It enabled me to have double hip double knee replacements in the 9 month periond between Oct 2011 and June 2012.

 10 min warm-up on treadmill, ran at 4.7
squats, calf raises, leg extension, leg curls, bicycle crunches, pull-ins x2
3 miles on bike (8:15) 15 seconds off last time, 800 meters on rowing machine (4:15)
shoulder press, front raises, lateral raises, oblique pull ins x2
10 min on treadmill 4% incline at 3.5
triceps pull downs w/rope, triceps extensions, triceps dips, ab crossovers x2

I did what I consider running for the first time since I broke my collar bone.  3 miles in 29 minutes.  OMG I can't believe how hard that 3 miles was after not having run since April 2nd.  I'm 78 miles behind my goal for the year.  I should have logged 390 miles by now, and I'm only at 312.  That is going to suck playing catch up on those miles.

I plan on an hour worth of hill climbing on the bike trainer tonight.

Ran a relaxed 3 miles, following a pretty high mileage week (for me). Did notice I have run 112 miles this mo. Yippee

Doing a really relaxed 2.5 mi tonight and 40 min of fast walking on lunch/break today at work. Not much compared to most of you, but it's my "easy day".

I did a nice 8k in 40 mins last night and am going to hit a 35k bike ride today after work.

Seriously....how the hell did I ever let myself get fat? This feels so much better than what I was.
